Organic Ag
The Arkansas Organic Agriculture project is part of the USDA-funded Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) of the Midwest region. The project is a program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative. TOPP is a collaborative effort involving many partners working together towards a common goal. The TOPP partnership network covers six regions: the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Plains, Northwest, and West/Southwest. The goals of TOPP are to increase certified organic acreage to meet consumer demand and also increase the number of black, indigenous, and people of color who are engaged in the organic industry.
Over the next several years, you will find resources, events, and opportunities in the four TOPP priority areas that will support organic production in Arkansas.
